Mamas retreat located in the leafy suburb of Glendowie, Auckland – a short stroll from St Heliers Bay Road. It is a little sanctuary for the busy Mama & Mama to be. It is owned and operated by Jules Hayden, a mama of 2 & a qualified massage therapist, certified pregnancy massage practitioner, beauty therapist, reiki therapist & infant massage instructor. Mamas Retreat is a fusion of modalities, designed to help women from a holistic point of view.

Jules trained and qualified as a beauty therapist while living in Sydney 12 years ago but became disillusioned with the industry as she felt she was only helping people on a superficial level.

She had a tough second pregnancy which resulted in her being hospitalised after the birth of her Son. She knew there & then that she  wanted to prevent others from going through what she did and she wanted to help people at a core level and so Mamas Retreat was born to focus exclusively on women’s health.

Jules has undergone extensive training in pregnancy & birth work and has learned some of the latest techniques from some of the best people in the industry, both here and overseas.

She is vastly experienced & will ensure you receive the best care possible. Whether you’re a Mama to a fur baby, big babies, small babies or are trying to conceive, Jules will tailor a treatment specifically for your needs.

Reiki is a huge part of everything Jules does & it is demonstrated in all of her services.

Having experienced very different pregnancies & births on her two young children, she can fully appreciate your journey, understand your challenges & work with you to ensure you get the best out of your journey into fertility, motherhood & beyond.
